We have been finding out about the effect of World War 2 on children.  As part of our Home Front Day, we experienced a re-enactment of an air raid, listening to terrifying sounds whilst crouching in a dark, cramped bomb shelter.  We wrote about our feelings about this event in the form of a newspaper article.  Click on the links below to read them.  (They are Word documents).

We grew potatoes in the school garden and found out that during the War everyone turned their gardens into vegetable plots.  We dressed up and then took photos.  We coloured these like old photos and then created posters.

In maths, we had to plan out a garden drawn to scale and decide which vegetables to grow.
